Subject: a good deck tip

Now that magic ruler is out its the time for type deck. ya i know yall mostly saying its a waste, but trust me its not. a type deck gives you the advantage in a duel.

what i mean by type is water, earth, fire, wind, dark, light. the majority of deck created today are mixed decks of different types. the theme my be different, but the cards are all of different monster types.

field magic cards are now worth playing since now you get a 500 atk boost instead of that sorry 200. the deck im going to give as an example is the one i created for the last tourniment i was in. i call this deck Water World for good reason. and i also got a kick out of saying can your monsters swim.

Monster cards:

1x    suijin (think of him as the king of your sea monsters)

2x    crab turtle (if you look at the suijin card you can say this is the monster he summoning )

3x    7 colored fish

3x    high tide gyojin

3x    great white

3x   hyosube

1x   red archery girl

1x   weather report (just in case swords come into play)

2x mother grizzly (a WoTbF for water types and they go to the field)

2x star boy (its effect adds 500atk and lowers fire type by 400)

1x  cyber jar (not a water type but think of it as a floating mine)

2x  man eater bugs (not a water type but you do find bugs in water)
         total: 24 monsters

Magic:

3x    umiiruka (gives all your sea monster 500 atk increase)

3x    malevolent

1x    axe of despair

1x    black pendant

3x    power of kaishin

1x    giant trunade

2x    fissure

1x    swords of revealing light 

1x   dian keto the cure master (just incase you need life points)

1x    dark hole

1x    monster reborn

1x   change of heart

2x   turtle oath
             total: 21 magic cards

Trap cards

3x    trap hole
1x    waboku   
 
1x    mirror force
 
1x  ultimate offering.
                   total: 6 traps cards
total cards: 51
 
now you might say 51 is alot of cards but its a good number just in case your put on the defence (which didnt happen much for me)since this deck lacks it.
     this deck has been tourniment tested and i made it all the way to the finials. the only other weakness i found was if they had a 7 colored fish. their fish would get the power boost also but if you play your fissure and trap cards right then that weakness is removed.  the last but not much of a major weakness is if you dont have a field magic card in play.
              the best part is that the advantage is in my favor majorly. once the field card is in play then few things can stop you once you get going. your lowest monster with the field card in play is 1900 and the highest is 3050 and thats without the equip cards. have star boy in play then he will be the losest at 1550(from the field card and its effect) and the highest 3550.  now think about how your atk will be with equip cards added. its like you have an army of summoned skulls in your deck. plus there are few cards that they can use to stop you.
  a good combo if you ever get these cards is with turtle oath, crab turtle, suijin, and monster reborn. use suijin as tribute to bring out crab turtle then use monster reborn to bring out suijin. now you have two monsters that were special summons to the field in the same turn. and if the field card is in play all i can say is ouch if they dont have anything to stop them on the field.
        so what im trying to say is that with everyone using mix monster type decks with a theme if you stick to one type of monster then you will have the advantage majorly. the only type of deck i wouldnt create would be a dark type deck since dark type monsters are used alot. and you dont want them gaining power ups too.
