Subject: Drama Queens and Combos Galore with
Yugioh!
This is a sort of rant combo and I am a little in between on
what order I should put it in...but I think I'll put the combo first. The combo
is not really that good but it is fairly fun to play with the new incarnations
that Magic Ruler has brought us. The possibility of MONO-elemental decks is
peaking over the edge of tournaments even though they are far from possible they
are still off in the distant. Playing cards such as Mother Grizzly and Shining
Angel offer a small and rather useful combo with cards that up until now were
thought to be useless.
The deck requires a type, for instance
water which is easy because it has a few high attackers without tribute mainly,
7 Colored fish. Using Starboy an effect monster that offers an extra 500 points
to water can be combined with Mother Grizzly. Simply set the Mother Grizzly in
defense and wait for it to be sent to the grave from an attack, then special
summon Starboy and place out 7 colored fish or High tide Gyojin on your next
turn. This can also be improved by adding field cards, even though this combo is
very thin and very very puny in most cases, it has and does work. One thing
about using an all water deck is watching for other decks using 7 colored fish,
otherwise it's a pretty good choice. The only reason that this deck is even
mentionable is the fact that it is quite fun to watch new cards emerge and
bring victory with them.
Also a very odd deck that formed was an all
Magic deck, using ZERO (0) monsters. I mainly played with it experimentally but
was amazed at the results, (5-2-0). Yeah five wins and no monsters! I first made
it to see how long someone could stall without any monsters, then whilst in the
middle of a duel found that this deck packed combo upon combo. A main card that
DOMINATED was Chain energy, this card scared both my opponent and I yet it
mostly burnt the opposition, and combined with toll and gravekeeper's servant
was a ruthless tactic!
Leaving this I will place a few thoughts
that I have about people that have no idea of what it is there are speaking of.
I am tired of clicking on the link to CCG strategies and being brought to an all
out war on the strength of beatdown decks. I don't understand what people are
trying to do. Without out some sort of fact which are impossible to get in a
game of chance, odds are the only evidence which vary and increase with input
and output. People are placing their Opinions(like I am now) on a message board
and declaring as if monarch their word is fact, is law and everyone that reads
it must obey and follow. What is that?! I personally don't care if someone has
some rant about a beatdown deck, I don't need to rifle through 200 different
posts about their feelings on it "Rants about beatdown ranting rants of the
ranters rants ranting on beatdown rants." It is as if Hell has opened up and
poured idiocy in the utmost. I just don't understand maybe people don't know
what EMAIL is, just email the person don't drag every other person into your
spiraling stratosphere of ignorance. Yes what I am writing now is an opinion, so
if you have a problem email me, don't post some useless response on the message
board.Either way one thing can be concluded from all of this, trading cards that
have no worth to kids that know nothing and give up Amazing ones Is the best
thing that a duelist can do! If anyone wants to email me about this I don't mind
I'll read it, but if you send in something so pathetic like so many other people
(Majin Ultima) then I'll probably delete it. I am not one to deride
people who are some what educated but at some point there is no
tolerance
