Subject: some words about Relinquished- ShokinKazzeki okay..... I've heard lots of of strategies and tips about Relinquished. I just thought I'd add my 2sense about the card. First off if you plan to play a Relin. always use 2 Senju and 2 Sonic, and duh the ritual magic. Relin. is a card that can change the tide of battle very quickly. Unfortunetelly, the tide can be changed in your opponents favor. You must know when to play it !!!! What is the point of playing the card when there are two 4 star 1800's on the field? Or any other weak card for that matter? The equip monster on Relin. is destroyed and until your next turn it's wide open for direct life point slaughter. I've seen decks based around this card and they simply dont work, it has way too many weaknesses. The card equiped to it becomes a magic card (need I say more?) and if its' caught without any thing backing it up opponents can tear away your life points. So ...... Since this is one of my favorite cards I forced myself to find it's strength. This thing rules in a beatdown deck. If you have a monster on the field plus Relinquished your opponent is going to have a hard time doing anything. Same thing in any defensive deck for the same reason. Playing the card when your opponent has two non parrallel atk monsters will ensure that Reliquished clears the opponents field while keeping a monster on Relin.. This way( unless Ultimate offering or any other multiple summons are used ) the ratio of monsters are 1 to 1 at the end of your opppponents turn. Playing Relin. at the end of a duel is usauly best. By experience, it's just too much for someone to deal with after they have used thier respsctive magic jammers, cyclones, de spells and drains. Keep the card equiped. In conclusion....... I haven't said to much and if theres one thing that a beginner should get from this is to bide your time with this card; hold off using it while doing something else, then smack it in your opponent's face when he/she plays that Barell Dragon or BEWD or even SS. Just don't rush this card. Patience is a virtue. -ShokinKazzeki \/ culbz@msn.com \ ||| ___ | |
