Subject: equip card tips Hi, I have some tips regarding equip cards. 1. First off, Maha Vailo (MRL-012) is GOD. 1550 atk + 500 for every equip card. To put it bluntly, put one Axe of Despair on him for an attack of 3050 - enough to kill BEWD. 2 Axes = 4550 atk. Even without Axes he still owns basically anything, but Axes and Malevolent Nuzzlers work best. 2. Eternal Rest (MRL-060: "Destroys all monsters equipped with Equip Cards.") is better than Fissure. Monster you're not powerful enough to kill? Equip it with something and play Eternal Rest. I notice lots of players play high level equip cards these days (most notably Axe of Despair), and this card makes short work of them. Worried about killing your own monsters? Play Tailor of the Fickle first, equip your stuff onto your opponent and Eternal Rest them to the graveyard. 3. Megamorph (MRL-061). I can't see how so many people hate this card. Remember it has TWO uses: the obvious first, doubles your atk if you're behind in life. But the SECOND effect is where its at: when you're ahead in life it cuts atk in HALF. So say you're in the lead and your opponent summons something buff, say Summoned Skull, and you have nothing on the field that can kill it. You're out of luck right? Wrong. Equip Megamorph on it; since YOU have the lead in life points, you cut Summoned Skulls atk down to 1250, and your Harpy Lady is free to kill him. (NOTE: I haven't actually tried this in a tournament, but it works in theory. Since it is the person in the lead who equips it, hence counting as part of THEIR magic / trap field, the effect of having higher life points takes precedence. In addition, I tried this move in the Gameboy Advance game, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul, and it works just as I said.) Hope this helps, Ben shaipinoyboy@hotmail.com _________________________________________________________________ Unlimited Internet access -- and 2 months free!
