Subject: Eternal Rest of the Fickle - Kenjiblade Hello everyone, I'm here to talk about a good combo that is easier to pull off than you think. It involves using Eternal Rest to kill off monsters with Equip Magic on them, but using Tailor of the Fickle as well, to give you more control when using the card. "But my opponent never uses Equip Magic!" you say? The simple solution of course:Use Equip Magic of your own! Also, you might think that placing Equipment Magic on your opponent's monster is disadvantageous, but it combos very well anyway. It might not seem much like it, but the use of these 2 cards equates to having some control and eventually it gives you the advantage in a duel. For example, let's say you have Change of Heart, Eternal Rest and Malevolent Nuzzler (Axe of Despair if you have it) in hand, with Tailor of the Fickle set. If your opponent only has 1 monster, then you can use CoH to control it for the turn, attach the Nuzzler (or Axe of Despair) to it, enter Battle Phase to deal damage to your opponent (unless they Waboku/Kuriboh that damage), and top it off by playing Eternal Rest during Main Phase 2, killing off their monster that would've otherwise been returned to them on their turn. Have a problem with your own monster(s) having an Equip Magic on them and not wanting them to die as well? Then just use Tailor of the Fickle to direct the Equip card to the opponent's monster first. That's another thing to address, if you're using a deck that has the Eternal Rest+Tailor of the Fickle tech in it. Never, ever use more than 1 Equip card on any particular monster unless you're positive you won't regret it later. This insures that if the moment calls for it, and you wanna kill off some monsters, you can save a particular Equipped monster from death by using only 1 of your Tailor of the Fickle, rather than 2 or 3. Snatch Steal has brilliant synergy with Eternal Rest, since Snatch Steal itself is an Equip card. Simply steal their creature, attack, then Eternal Rest at Main Phase 2, and bam, no 1000 LP gain for them at all! I digress...Tailor of the Fickle and Eternal Rest are by no means a perfect combo (last I checked, there was no such thing), and it of course has its flaws, such as its uncanny ability to be blocked by Magic Jammer (pack some Seven Tools of the Bandit if you think you'll need 'em). Not to mention also that since this monster removal is dependant on 2 cards, it's a stretch to say that you'll always have the option available to you (though, with 3 of both cards, it shouldn't be too hard to get both at some point). Just remember, use your imagination to think up other ways to use & abuse these 2 cards, as well as any other cards that are available to you. Don't forget, every card is situational to a certain extent; no card is perfect. Questions/Comments/Arguements?
