- From: DeathWurm14@aol.com Subject: Ultraseann's Top Ten WIND Beatdown Cards As I sit down to write this card list, my deck beside me is still smoking from the quarterfinals of a local tourney. WIND Beatdown is its name, and it does amazing things. So on to the top ten- (there will be no cards on this list that are not for a wind deck) 10-Chaosrider Gustaph Yes, he isn't great, and yes, he is hard to use, but in some situations, Gusty does things no other card can. Hard to name, but a 2000+ natural attacker is rare in wind beatdown (although 2200+ attackers are common, they don't do it themselves) So thats it for gusty. He has awesome art too. 9. Little-Winguard- Little Wing is an awesome card early in the game if luck is bad, or late in the game if luck is good. Still, he is about as usable as chaosrider most of the time, and only one of each of those cards should be run. 8. Elegant Egotist- Multiplying monsters is a plus, and this is obviously out to get harpie lady 1, not harpie sisters. Thats all there is to say, except that it can be a dead draw often and don't play with more that two 7. Luster Dragon- Yeah, he is number 7, but thats only because he doesn't fit in with the team dynamic. Great monster, he is the bane of a serious WIND Beatedown when another deck plays him for no reason. 6. Flying Kamikiri- Now this card is money style yo (j/k) but seriously it can search out many important cards like harpie 1 and bladefly and windguard. 5. Bladefly- This little bug is sick! boosts himself to 1100 and everyone else by 500 pts! Thats just crazy good. 4. Silpheed- Gets more than one summon a turn and you get a great effect when it dies! Sign me up. 3.- Harpie Lady 1- I've said enough about this card. Its beautiful. 2. Spear Dragon- A great beatdown monster in its own right, who wants to have a spirit reaper when this monster gets boosted by 1800 pts? Not me. 1. Rising Air Current- Duh.
