TheBigE231@aol.com Eric Miller's Yugioh Top Ten List - Top Ten Exodia Deck Cards/Combos I've been playing this game since Metal Raiders and have collected a lot of cards. During this time I came across my first Exodia Limb (left leg) and it took me a year to find the rest. My Exodia Deck is a powerhouse in the local tourneys and should do well if I can get to an official one. I left out the basics of this deck for this list because I'm tired of hearing about them. So here we go... 1. Guardian Sphinx This card can stop most begginers in thier tracks. This can be flip summoned to send all of your opponent's monsters back to thier hand leaving him wide open to an attack. The best part of this monster is after all that the other half of it's effect flips it face down to def. position. Keep his M/T field clean and you could be set for the duel 2. Dark Mimic Lv. 1 & Lv. 3 A very overlooked card that I depend on all the time. When Lv. 1 gets flipped you draw a card and if it's face up during your Standby Phase it can upgrade to Lv. 3! Lv. 3's effect allows you to draw a card when it's destroyed in battle but 2 cards if summoned by sacking a Lv. 1, so you can get 3-4 cards, pending Lv. 3's location, and 2 monsters, good deal! 3. Total Defense Shogun I've been waiting for this beast to come out ever since i bought World Championship for GBA. This is one of my staple cards that i used in every video game i bought and since adding it to my deck it has been feared as the perfect little sniper. Advantages of this card are many, including a resistance to Mirror Force and the ability to be put in face up defense mode from the hand. One of the three Lv. 5 + in my deck. 4. Monster Reincarnation Who doesn't have this card in there deck? This is the 1st card to allow me to pull Exodia's Head out of the Graveyard without needing 3 other cards to do it. Couple this with my Backup Soldier and 4 Exodias can go to the Graveyard without worries. Definitely make sure you get 2, i don't but it would be useful. 5. Penten the Dark Clown Another of my staples. This card takes the not so unique ability of bringing more of itself onto the field when it goes to the graveyard and adds the fact that is can go from anywhere to the grave for this to work. This is a first pick for Graceful Charity sacs and monster sacs. Obviously 3 are required for this card to work right. 6. Millennium Shield This card was added due to the fact that i had no Labyrinth Walls to protect me from Blue-Eyes or the Envoy Cards, the banes of my deck. It is usually a good draw but can ba a pain if i draw it when i have no hand. 7. Blast Held by a Tribute Perhaps one of the most Situational cards in my deck. The 1000 LP of damage is nice but my deck does little to no damage in any given duel and only wins on LP about every 6 times. But everyone needs protection and an extra Mirror Force Effect is just the trick. 8. Nimble Momonga Very useful at times and a pain at others. The healing effect is useful but is needs to die in battle and i live in the land of the Meteor Crush effects, everyone has either a swarm of built in or Big Bang Shots coming out of their ears. Side boarded occasionally with Bubonic Vermin for flavoring. 9. Kuriboh Yeah, I know it's an old card and mostly useless but this has saved me countless times and won a few duels for me, yes there is little that can feel better than winning with an attack by a Kuriboh, very little. 10. My Ultimate Drawing Engine Once spell counters came out I did a foolish thing and made a Spellcaster deck built around them. Needless to say it failed. However I found an engine that created infinite Spell Counters. Remember WAY back in PSV when Harpies Brother came out, well there was another 1800 ATK monster that came out that people said was useless because it destroyed any equip attached to it, remember? Now fast forward to the Guardians, the main equip everyone wanted because it came back after being destroyed? Gierfried the Iron Knight and Butterfly Dagger Elma can create a force to rival that of the Chaos Emperor Dragon and more, add Royal Magical Library and pick up YOUR ENTIRE DECK, add Magical Marionette and destroy his field and attack with a monster with infinite attack points. Why is this 10th in my list? I took it out because it wasted a lot of space. This combo has dozens of applications, find yours. (sorry) Well there you have it. My best Exodia deck cards. I hope that these will help build many decks and make some better. Some cards/combos that did not make the list are Painful Choice-Exodia Necross due to the humongous risk, All of those drawing cards plus Witch and Sangan because that's a given, Imperial Order for the same reason, and finally Exodia because I am not going to waste your time.
