Ian top 10 yu-gi-oh cards ifrons@hotmail.com I have stayed away from using the obvious staples such as: heavy storm, harpies feather duster, dark hole, raigeki, pot of greed, graceful charity, monster reborn, call of the haunted, premature burial, sangan, witch, change of heart and mirror force I also tried to stay away from cards used in specific decks such as: drop off, don zaloog, spirit reaper, delinquint, mirage of nightmare, 1900 beatsticks, lily, exiled, dd warrior lady judge as you will any questions just email me back or IM me Father Nebro 10.Torrential Tribute- Bye bye all monsters on the field. With Jinzo and m/t removal being its biggest enemey, it was a very overlooked card that is finally starting to see the play it deserves. Since the whole chainability=power controversy began, people starting running Waboku in exchange for a couple other cards they used to use. I'm not saying that chainability is garbage...it's really great actually, but you can get so much more bang for your buck by using a Torrential that a Waboku. Take the chance of the MST destroying it. Its result can be amazing, game breaking and devastating to your opponent especially if they have a decent number of monsters on the field. It's also a solution the the beautiful purple bird. 9. Sinister Serpent- I was told not to swear...so I'll simply say,"your female dog." Talk about abusable cards. Graceful Charity/Delinquint Duo/Don Zaloog/Spirit Reaper/Drop Off bait. It's also great if you didnt draw a Mystical Space Typhoon while using Mirage of Nightmare as you can keep taking it back from the graveyard when its discarded. Not as solid of a defense as Spirit Reaper is, however in several games has been very useful to me. There is nothing funnier than having this discarded as a random discard from a hand disruption monster...besides the beatiful purple bird of course. However in some cases, this can be a solution to that beautiful purple bird. If the bird is the only monster they have on the field you can just take this back and set it. As long as they don't draw a revival card or a Nobleman of Crossout, you get to draw...believe in the heart if it comes to this. 8. Tying in 8th place are Mystical Space Typhoon and Breaker the Magical Warrior- I'm sure you've all gone through the process of setting your trap card that will TIP the duel in your favor when BAAAM nuked by an MST. With the power to destroy Imperial order and stop you from getting a monster back when chained to a Premature Burial or Call of the Haunted. While most commonly used to destroy m/t's set by your opponent right after they set them, I prefer to usually hold on to it, since it can destroy Imperial Order...might as well keep it. This also puts an end to your Mirage of Nightmare allowing you in some cases massive draw power. Often run in triplicate in most decks, it is a very flexible card and rest assured that it WILL come up in tournement play. Onto breaker, with a 1900 atk with his spell counter, he can easily hold his own in the current metagame...you know...until a monster removal card comes out. Yet that's not why he is great. Nuke a m/t on the field by removing his counter, if your opponent was praying their Mirror Force will save them...they see that they clearly did not keep the faith. 7. Ring of Destruction- Bye any monster but Jinzo. A chainable, monster removing, direct damage doing ring of fire. Simply stated, if this card is played right, or if you save it for later in the game, you can use the direct dmg to draw the game or win. Another solution to that beautiful purple bird. 6. Magical Scientist- Works magic indeed. As of late has been referred to as the "swiss army knife" of duel monsters, this card can change the tide of the game...if you spare the cost. 1/8 of your lifepoints gone. However it is a just cause. Stop your opponent from searching with Witch and Sangan with Dark Balter the Terrible. Stop their flip effect monsters and stop Sinister Serpent from returning from the graveyard...again with Dark Balter the terrible. Atk a 1900 beatstick or other monster with Ryu-Senshi without fear of traps. Take and destroy any monster with Thousand Eyes Restrict. Punish your opponent for having a Spirit Reaper in attack mode. Don't abuse his effect...THEY'RE YOUR LIFEPOINTS!!! 5. Imperial Order-You all know of the greatness of Imperial order no Raigeki, no Harpies Feather Duster, no magic at all. A Godsend first hand. 4. Jinzo- Unless your opponent has a stronger monster than him, there is not a large amount of cards that can stop him. He will atk you directly without fear without thinking twice. YOU MAY NOT CHAIN TO HIS SUMMON!!! Everyone tries to chain Waboku to his summon, you just can't do it, if you wanna get into that with me than email me. I can't say anymore about the J Man that you don't already know. 3. Tribe Infecting Virus- The best card to emerge from MFC. Clear the field, destroy your own Witch or Sangan. This I think is possibly the card fetched out most by Witch, with good reason. Acting as a solution to 99% of monsters(Vlord, Witch, Sangan). This monster has the potential to put your opponent in their place. Use your Sinister Serpent...and by use I mean abuse. 2. Snatch Steal- With potential to completely turn the tide of the game in your favor or to get a monster to sacrafice for your Jinzo or Vampire Lord. Simply amazing describes this card best. Just beware of MST's and the 1k lp your opponent gains each of their standbye phases. Take their Amazoness Swordswoman or their D.D. Warrior Lady and SWING. However I believe Snatch steal is best combo'd with that beautiful purple bird. 1. Yata-Garasu(SARCASTIC TONE: surprise), The Bird, The Crow, The Instant Win God- Effect: If you play this card and a look of anger and pity takes hold of your opponent you win. Or Effect: If your opponent has no cards in their hand and nothing on the field, increase this monsters attack to 8,000 I would go as far to say that I LOVE THIS BIRD. This bird is better than the middle-finger. This card can only be described in groups of one word such as Broken, Amazing, Godly, Hilarious. You all know what this card does, while best used in a control deck, I feel that it should have a slot in every deck...but that's just me. You either love it...or hate it, there is no middle ground. _________________________________________________________________
