Rollo T's Top 10 Dragon Cards

10. Different Dimension Dragon. 1200/1500 5 star monster.  This is not my first pick for Dragons. It's effect is nice though. It can't be destroyed by Spell or Trap unless they specifically designate a target (a.k.a its immune to Dark Hole, Raigeki, Mirror Force, etc.) and can't be destroyed by monsters with 1900 or less atk. It's not a horrible card as its both Sangan and Witch searchable, its' effect just doesn't make up for the tribute it takes to bring it out.

9. Dragon Dwelling in the Cave. 1300/2000. It's a Dragon type Giant Solider of Stone. Not much to say about it, but that its a good stall card to help bring out more powerful monsters.

8. Cave Dragon. This card has 2000 attack and needs no tributes! You know there has to be a weak point, and there are 2. First this card has only 100 Def (Witch searchable) and if there are any other monsters on your side of the field it must be flip summoned, in addition it can't attack unless you have another Dragon type on the field. Still 2000 atk is nothing to laugh at.

7. Luster Dragon #2.  6 Stars, 2400 attack, and 1400 defense, no effect.  Think Summoned Skull only weaker and in Dragon form.  Now be honest with yourself, you know must of us ran a Summoned Skull in our decks at one time or another, and this isn't a bad monster for being a Dragon type. It's Witch searchable and able to stand up to big bad Jinzo. It's not the best or worst, but if you feel the need to use this guy, go right ahead.

6. Paladin of White Dragon.  1900/1200 Ritual monster. That means you need both PoWD and its Ritual card to bring this guy out, but if you do get both its only a 4 star sacrafice needed. This card can immediatly destroy any face down card it attacks, so no Man-Eater Bug nor any damage recieved for attacking Labriynth Wall and it's destroyed. In addition you can destroy this card to bring out Blue Eyes, and although it can't attack that turn, it's still a very useful tactic for bringing out the old monster destroyer Blue Eyes.

5. Troop Dragon. I don't get it. This card is really good especially in Dragon decks, but I'm the only person I know that runs even 1 let alone 3 in his/her deck. Maybe some people don't quite get the effect. The card specifies that when it is destroyed and sent to graveyard, so that include cards like, Card Destruction, Magic Jammer, Needle Worm, any that involve this card going to graveyard, and getting another one of those guys on the field really helps getting high leveled Dragons out on the field.

4. Luster Dragon.  This is a very awesome Dragon type.  1900/1600 no tribute effect-less Dragon. Why is this so good, I mean it's not even Witch searchable!? Simple, few non-tribute Dragons can stand on their own, let alone deal some big damage, but this card changes that. With 1900 atk and no effect to make this card worse, this is a Dragon deck essiential.

3. Spear Dragon. This card is 1900/0. No defense... well that means its Witch searchable, but you know there has to be another reason for it. Oh that's it, this card is like Goblin Attack Force, as it switches to DEF at then end of the attack, but can be switched back next turn. Then why is this card better than Luster Dragon? It has the Fairy Meteor Crush effect, so your oppenent sends out some Scapegoats and you take them down with Spear and deal 1900 damage each turn.

2. Tyrant Dragon. Tyrant Dragon... 2900/2500... This card broke some ground as being one of the first good effect Dragons.  Its ability to attack twice if the field isn't cleared has definatly helped some duelists out, and its second ability to negate all traps that specifically designate it (Magic Cylinder, Ring of Destruction, etc.) is pretty cool. Only downside is you really shouldn't play this guy outside of Dragon decks as a Dragon must be sacraficed to Special Summon this monster from the graveyard.

1. Blue Eyes White Dragon. I guarentee many people won't agree with me on this.  What that 2 tribute effect-less Dragon? Yes that Dragon. Despite being perhaps too outnumbered by better two tribute monsters, this card is now becoming slowly easier to play.  With the assistence of Paladin of White Dragon, and Kaiser Sea Horse, this card might start reappearing in some Dragon or Light based decks.  Besides you can't tell me you never wanted to be like Kaiba using his Blue Eyes...
