10. Raigeki- this is from lob now that old and in almost everyone's deck 
how could that not be in the top ten.

9. Pot of Greed- this card is the most broken and has the power to tern a duel 
around also there are so many spin off  card aka. Spirit of the pot of greed, 
and goblin of greed. All having the same face as the pot.

8 Swords of Revealing Light- most people do not use this card any more because 
there are too many things to counter it, mystical space typhoon is the most 
popular. They don't realize the late game potential of this card. Having 
three turns to get that game braking card is just too good to pass up. 
Take my advice take out that third typhoon and put in this baby you wont be sorry.

7 Waboku- this card can be found in any starter deck so it must be at the 
leas good. Hey I disagree this card is the best trap out there. It should 
read I get a free turn. That's not were it ends this card can be chained 
to anything giving it grate opportunities to be used.  I run three in my deck.

6. Kuriboh- a fuzz ball that stops your opponents attack how cool is that.

5. Spellbinding Circle- out of all the older traps this is one of my 
favorites. Not because of what it dose but because of the art. This 
card has some other back ground. It is the one thing holding exodia back 
from destroying the world. 

4. Summoned Skull- this card is the origin of one tribute beat down monsters.  
Unfortunately people have lost interest in this card especially with hand 
control, field control, and chaos decks becoming more and more powerful 
and popular this guy has lost his place of power bout talking about old card he is the king of all.

3. Blew Eyes White Dragon.- back in the day it was actually possible to 
sacrifice two monsters. Even today this guy is the strongest normal 
monster with an attack of 3000 he is slowly gaining power back now with 
paladin of white dragon and Kaiser sea horse. I can see people running 
this assume monster in the near future.

2. Exodia the Forbidden One. I don't know why I don't see more of this 
being played in tournaments he is the first of all instant win strategies 
and what people do not realize is that he still is a powerful monster. 
It is possible if the deck is built right that it will not need gravity 
bind and or messenger of peace. Also this type of deck has the possibility 
to win with in five turns just focus on searching and drawing.

1. Dark Magician - I know you are thinking why but think of how many 
card have come out since to support the special summoning of this guy 
and all the card that help clear the field for a direct attack. Hers 
the list skilled dark magician 
Thousand knives 
Dark paladin then use diffusion.
Dark magician girl
Dark magician of black chaos
Diffusion wave motion
In the future 
Dark magical curtain
Dark sage 

I know there more but I cant think of them at this current time .
