Top 5 silliest Yu-gi-oh fads, and top 10 in more-Five God Dragon

These are some of the top 10 best and worst.

First, the top 10 non-staple cards in the game.

10. Breaker the Magical Warrior. The most powerful beatstick out there.
9. Waboku. Okay, so it is a semi-staple, so I'm only putting it at #9 But either way, this is one of the most powerful traps in the game.
8. Tribe-Infecting Virus. Monster removal and discarding power. Plus, 1600ATK is good with it's effect.
7. D. D. Warrior Lady. One of my personal favorite cards. Removal and power in a chaos deck both. Plus, it renders Serpent, Witch, and Sangan useless.
6. Cyber Jar. I like MAJOR summoning and drawing power, and this is the best in both.
5. Mirage of Nightmare. Lots of combos, and drawing that can give you every weapon in your arsenal.
4. Vampire Lord. This card is abused almost as much as 1 and 2. It has their power, and the speed of a warrior.
3. Mystical Space Typhoon. NO DUH!
2. Chaos Emperor Dragon-Envoy of the End. Many people consider the Chaos monsters staples, but not in every deck. Why they're so high is self-explanatory.
1. Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning This card I consider to be more fun, and perhaps better than CED

Next is the top 5 monsters with 500 or less ATK.

5. Spirit Reaper. A wall with a built-in hand disruption effect. Searchable by Witch, Sangan, Tomato, and Pyramid Turtle.
4. Magical Scientist. Players who love strategy love this card. Capable of easy 1-turn wins.
3. Fiber Jar. Reset everything except life pints.
2. Yata-Garasu. I know I'm going to get a lot of hatemail for putting Yata at two. But the truth is, Serpent and Yata are almost tied. They're both searchable, but Yata can't be special summoned. Also, even though a lot of combos can be pulled off with Yata, but even more with Serpent. Also, Yata isn't a pure staple (even though he's dangerously close) and Serpent is. But when it comes down to raw power, Yata will take the crown.
1. Sinister Serpent. It's a defense. It lightens discarding from your hand. It even pays for a tribute. And it always comes back, unless it's removed from play. I try to get one into my hand as soon as possible. If the opponent draws Yata after I use CED's effect, I have this to save me from a loss.

And finally, the top 5 silliest fads in Yu-gi-oh.

5. Magic Cylinders. Gonna get some hatemail for this one, too. I'm not calling it a bad card, just it
is stupid to call it a staple with RoD out. Sure, I used to use it, but as soon as RoD came out, I immediately traded Cylinders for it. Even before RoD was out, it wasn't a staple.
4. Don Zaloog. Sure it's a good card, but in EVERY DECK? Part of the reason is because of Spirit Reaper, but as soon as this came out, everyone put 3 Zaloog, 3 Reaper, and 3 Tomato. It's only a juiced-up White Magical Hat.
3. Dragon Decks. Sure, it's all we had back then, but it was still stupid. Put in all the dragons you can, and some Lord of Dragons and Flutes. But if you don't get Lord of D, your screwed.
2. Using initials for everything. Do you have SKoaHP, or IFL, or BEWD, or LoD? (that's Shinato, King of a Higher Plane, Injection Fairy Lily, Blue Eyes White Dragon, and Lord of Dragons. A newb asking, of course.) Heck, it was even cool to have Sangan as S. But, as more sets came out, it became confusing. Thank you, Upperdeck.
1. Injection Fairy Lily. Use it in every deck. Now, it isn't even sidedecked often. It's complete suicide. My friends thought I was crazy, but who's laughing now? Let me give you an example:
First, my opponent (5500LP) plays a Lily and attacks my Jinzo. Next, I activated Call of the Haunted on Jinzo and played Gemini Elves. (LOD had just come out a week ago.) Then, I ran Jinzo into Lily. (1500LP) Then, I attacked Lily with Elves.
Pure suicide. Put himself in a lose-lose situation.

Well, I hope you liked it.
