Goldberg's Top 10 Chainable
Traps
Here is the list in my opinion of
the top ten chainable traps out there at the
moment.
10. Drop Off – Used mainly in hand
disruption but it has a very nice effect that can be used in a combo with
Yata-Garasu.
9. Torrential Tribute – this is used
less then Mirror Force… I mean Mirror Force usually gets Typhoon used on
it, as does this. It isn’t very chainable, only to the summon of
monsters. Although it still has a good effect. That gives it this
spot.
8. Magic Cylinder – this is just as
chainable as Mirror Force but it has an effect that isn’t as good as Mirror
Force. It has a better effect then Torrential Tribute in my
opinion.
7. Solemn Judgment – this is very
chainable, although it kills half of your life points. Something you won’t
want.
6. Mirror Force – Just as chainable
as Magic Cylinder and Torrential Tribute but a much better
effect.
5. Ring of Destruction – Much more
chainable then Mirror Force and anything before except Solemn Judgment. It
does damage and stops monsters from attacking so it can be a very useful trap
late game.
4. Call of the Haunted – You need a
Witch/Sangan in the graveyard or Jinzo but when you do it works nicely because
you either get to search or get a high attacker.
3. Ceasefire – Chainable to any m/t
removal, nice effect, does heavy damage, overall good
card.
2. Waboku – Chainable to pretty much
anything. Free turn if you have this facedown, because attacks cannot kill
you. It’s a very good trap. In my opinion more usable then
Torrential Tribute or Mirror Force because of the chain ability. This will
take over the game because m/t removal is becoming more and more popular.
It will be popular until bans come out. Mirror Force will then see a
rise.
