Drew's Top Ten IOC Cards

Hello Folks, This is Drew back again with another one of my patented card reviews. This time, I have compiled a list of the best cards from the newly released pack, Invasion of Chaos.

10. Enraged Battle Ox- I know that many people may not consider this to be that good, but I feel that it just isn't getting the amount of attention that it should be getting. It may not be a member of the growing 1900 club like Spear Dragon, but in my opinion, its effect is better than that of the Dragon because it doesn't have to worry about going to defense mode.

9. Reload- I feel that this card is worthy addition to any Chaos or Exodia deck because of the options that it can give you, even though it does give you a one card hand disadvantage. If you don't pull an exodia piece in your first hand, Reload can surely help you along.

8. Drillago- It may be on the weak side attack-wise, but this little walking power tool could be a potentially game winning card. When you are both at the brink of defeat and your opponent topdecks that Vamp or Jinzo, this could deliver the damage that is needed to clinch the match.

7. Manticore of Darkness- This is yet another card that can lead an exodia deck on the path to victory. If you can get a Card of Safe Return on the field, a manticore in you hand, and another in the graveyard, you have basically won the duel. This combo is faster than the Gearfried/Elma/Library combo and is a lot easier to pull off. If you need to know how this combo works, just check the manticore's review in the COTD section of this website.

6. Mataza the Zapper- Few people recognize the true power that this card contains until a fully-equipped Zapper is staring them in the face. Equip this card with United We Stand and you have a card that could get you a direct attack almost every turn. The this thing is basically Hayabusa on steroids.

5. D.D. Designator- I personally pack 2 of these little babies in my own beatdown deck. After a hand attack from Forceful or Confiscation, these can be the deciding factor in your victory or defeat. Even that dreaded bird has something to fear when this card strolls into town. It goes back into their hand and than removed from play the very next turn. I've found this to be especially effictive after you both draw from Cyber Jar.

4. Chaos Black Magician- When I first saw the newly-restricted IOC cards, I had one big question on my mind. WHY IS THIS CARD NOT RESTRICTED!? Dump three of these into the graveyard with painful choice while you have a Monster reborn at hand, and you can get them all onto the field at once and than a raigeki/duster afterwards to clear the field for a potentially game-winning direct attack. Since these are all special summoned, you could also summon a spear or jinzo to aid with extra damage or trap negation.

3. Berserk Gorilla- This one card currently holds the position of King of Beatdown Monsters. The gorilla is now leading the wave of soon to be released 2000 beatsticks (such as the upcoming Blade Knight). The ability to suicide vampire lord should have alone made this card a super rare. But since it's only a rare, getting them is much easier.

2. Chaos Emperor Dragon- Envoy of the End-  Their was an extremely difficult decision to make here involving this card and the card that I have ranked number one. The ability to further help a Yata-Lock makes this card very worthy, as well as its high stats, easy summoning, and highly damaging effect. I feel that this can fit into any beatdown deck as long as you are packing  Reflect Bounder and at least 2 D.D. Warrior Ladies. But if you use this in a deck built around it, people will avoid you like you are covered in chicken pox.

1.Black Luster Soldier- Envoy of the Beginning- When it came down to a fight between the soldier and the dragon, the soldier proved to be the victor. CED may have one very good effect, but BLS has two of them. This card could wipe out a Jinzo in one fell swoop and then go for a devastating direct attack.
