Subject: Top 10 Tribute Monsters- DrBubbles I wanted to come up with a list that I could do that was just monsters, yet I woouldn't have to put Yata-Garasu anywheres. So, he is my top ten tribute monsters. I'll start with #10- The Fiend Megacyber. 2200 Atk for a tribute monster isn't that good, put for no tribute is unequalled. Sure, he can still be destroyed by Goblin Attack Force and Bazoo, but if you get the chance to summon him free yoou have 2200 Atk and no negative effect. Being a Warrior could also be benificial. #9- Tyrant Dragon. For 100 less Atk, this is a Blue-Eyes that can attack two monsters and cannot be targeted by Spellbinding Circle or Magic Cylinder (correct me if I'm wrong about Magic Cylinder). The problem is that he cannot be discarded and reborned, which is the preferred way to get tribute monsters into play ( unless you sacrifice a Dragon) and the fact that he is a Level 7 monster. #8- Suijin. As long as this card sticks to Legendary Ocean decks, it will be something to be afraid of. A Level 7 25/24 with an awesome effect is good, but a Level 6 27/26 with an awesome effect is even better. Don't mess with Gate Guardian, though. It just isn't worth it. #7- Airknight Parshath. This card is best in a Light deck, since without some sort of boost, the stats just aren't worth messing with. This card is on the list since card drawing is rare, and this card is good at what it does. The Fairy Meteor Crush is what really makes this card worth using. And for anyone out there who knows, would a Fairy Meteor Crush equipped to Parshath double the damage? #6- Freed the Matchless General. This card is not going to win you many games, but having him out will force your opponent to destroy him quickly before you are too prepared. If you still had your normal draw this card would be somewhere between #1 and #3. #5- Catapult Turtle. I can see the hate mail coming now. This card is simply awesome in Legendary Ocean decks and useable in direct damage decks as well. 2200 Def could keep him on the field for a while, and 1200 Atk isnn't bad for an effect monster. Remember, being on this list doesn't mean he is worth sacrificing for. You might also want to consider using something like Heart of Clear Water on this guy. #4- The Legendary Fisherman. If this card didn't exist, Catapult and Suijin would have been farther down the list. Tornado Wall and A Legendary Ocean are what made this card more popular- and with good reason. Protection from magic means no equips, so you might want to use Blast with Chain in a Fisherman deck. #3- Dark Ruler Ha Des- 2450 Atk is great and the Royal Command effect translates into an awesome monster. Not being able to Special Summon him just gives you more reason to use him in a Dark Necrofear deck and kept him from being Restricted. #2- Summoned Skull. This card has been used heavily since the game came out and shows sign of becoming less useable anytime soon. Being a Normal Monster doesn't leave much more to mention- it is a pretty staight forward card. #1- Jinzo. I hate this card. I've never used it and never will. But none of that changes the fact that this is one of the best monsters in the game. Negating all traps and still having 2400 Atk is simply awesome. This is the only restricted tribute monster for a very good reason. Honourable mention goes to :Marie the Fallen One Beast of Talwar Sanga of the Thunder Barrel Dragon Luster Dragon Blue-Eyes White Dragon That's it.
