Subject: Jason's yugi-oh 10 card must haves
Here is my list of the best ten cards up through LOD(these are really must haves for a lot of decks)

10.  Swords of Revealing Light:  Counting from your opponent's turn, none of your opponent's monsters can attack for 3 turns of his/her own, When this card is activated , opponent's face-down monsters at the time are turned face-up, but remain in defense position. Any effects the monsters have are immediately activated.
Honestly folks, you have to see the advantage of this card.  Not only is it a stall card, it can help you against fiber, and the other jars(you don't lose your battle phase), and can at times turn the advantage your way.

9.  Pot of Greed:  Draw 2 cards from your deck.
This card may seem weak to some, but in fact it is one of the strongest cards in the game.  With any card game, card advantage is key to winning and this does just that.  Loss of 1 gain 2.  Plus, it can thin your deck to get to the card you need.  With magician its a card I usually go for every time.

8.  Magic Cylinder:  Negate the attack of one of your opponent's monsters and inflict direct damage equal to the attacking monster's ATK to your opponent's life points.
Another no brainer.  Not only do you stop a creature's attack (yata and fairy come to mind), if it is equipped with say United We Stand, etc.  or is just plain huge, you can possibly take your opponent out for attacking you.  Jinzo of course can mess it up, but one Jinzo in 40 cards is worth the risk. My suggestion to some players though is dont' play both cylinder and mirror force at the same time, its wreckless and I see it so much that it makes me sick (duster and heavy will get you if you don't heed my words).

7.  Harpie's Feather Duster:  Destroys all of your opponent's Magic and Trap cards on the field.
This card definitely lives up to the hype.  Its as simple as that, destroy your opponents responces to your cards.  Having won quite a few tourneys myself, it is also a good bluff card.  If your opponent has no set traps/magic, or you suspect your opponent has heavy or duster, set that baby and watch the look on their face when the just heavied your duster(haha). Then set that Mirror Force that they feared.

6.  Monster Reborn:  Select 1 monster card from either your opponent's or your own graveyard and place it on the field under your control in attack or defense position(face-up).  This is considered a special summon.
When is monster reborn not good. They have a Jinzo in their graveyard, make them pay.  Other effect monsters to abuse: exiled force, airknight, spear dragon, injection(if you have the life), etc. . The list keeps going.  That tribute thing isn't half bad either. Just try to make sure they don't have call of the haunted before you special out of their graveyard or you will pay.

5.  Change of Heart:  Select and control 1 opposing monster (regardless of position)
on the field until the end of turn.
The major advantage to this card is you control face down as well.  The jars become somewhat less effective.  Of course the best case is tributing the creature you now control (use it and abuse it).

4.  Mirror Force:  When an opponent's monster attacks, negate the attack and destroy all opponent's monsters in attack position.
Everyone knows this card. Your opponent got you down and has 5 creatures beating you down, turn the tables.  It would be higher on the list, but it can be played around and duster and heavy love it when they score against this card.  Don't get me wrong, I love this card, but Jinzo doesn't.

3.  Raigeki:  Destroy's all of your opponent's monsters on the field.
Booom they are dead, and you smash their owner for the win.  It is almost always good to have one of these babys in your hand.  Not to mention the card economy involved (you lose one card, they lose up to 5 creatures), this card kicks.  Are you takin major damage from your oppont's monsters, take revenge.  Jinzo is no problem if you survive the initial rush so sit back and smile.

2.  Imperial Order:  As long as this card remains face-up on the field, negate the effects of all magic cards.  Pay 700 life points during each of your standby phases. If you cannot, this card is detroyed.
My favorite card, I have won many duels just from this one card.  Of course it was after the errated it so you don't have to pay.  Activate it in response to your opponent's magic cards. Your opponent will cry when they realize they have a hand full of magic cards and you just sit back and pay.  If you don't need it don't pay.  7 tools, mystical space, and solemn are the only real threats.  I think every one should start playing one Mystical Space just to combat this card (of course you must use it upon activation, but of the three it is the most realist to use).  Definely Imperial order belongs high on the list.

1.  Jinzo:  ATK 2400/ DEF 1500 :  As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all trap cards cannot be activated.  The effects of all face-up trap cards are also negated.
Here comes the king.  He is definitely a keeper.  Not only do you stop your opponent's traps, he is pretty big to boot. 2400 attack for one tribute is nothing to scoff at.  He is definitely a good kill card.  True there are bigger creatures out there but his effect boosts him to the top of my list. In the current format the real threat to Jinzo is scapegoat so look out for that, but without that and possibly united or other equip cards you can kill them in one turn. He just looks cool too.

Honorable mentions: Exiled Force(very abusive), fiber jar, dark hole, yata-garusa, snatch-steal, call of the haunted, premature burial, creature swap, scapegoat, graceful charity, and of course the nasty United We Stand.
