Hammer of Wrath (Paladin)

1 cost Instant Ability - Holy

Your hero deals 3 holy damage to target hero or ally with damage on it. That damage can't be prevented.

I love Hammer of Wrath. I run 4 of it in my Pally deck. Good direct damage that can't be prevented. That's really all there is to it.

Sealed: 4/5
Constructed: 4/5
Casual: 4/5
Raid: 4/5

One review for them all. its cheap, big damage with a minor drawback. Thats it.
Jimby Hammer of Wrath
Paladin Ability 1 cost

Not a bad common from Dark Portal, dealing unpreventable damage laughs at armor. Such a low cost for 3 damage makes this ability one to look at closely, especially if you can beef it up with Sanctity Aura. This clears many protectors that have damage on them already, that is the key, it will not stop an attacker newly summoned with ferocity, but that is what other paladin tricks are for.

Try this ability, you may find a use, imagine late game with 2+ in hand staring down at solo warrior armored to the hilt....game for the paladin.

Sealed: 5/5 If you can find a sealed event using Dark Portal, use this ability. Low cost, high unpreventable damage, hero with a beefy health total and other tricks up his sleeve, this will help win may tournaments.

Constructed: 4/5 If you are centered around holy damage, this is a must. Dealing 5 damage for one cost and an active Sanctity Aura is nasty. Stall until late game and bombard the opposing hero with 5-15 damage seems like a winning strategy.

Casual: 4/5 Paladins are frustrating to begin with, adding unpreventable damage while laughing at your opponents attempts to damage you makes for a fun game. Theme is the key, don't be afraid to experiment.

Raid: 4/5 Unpreventable damage to the bosses with damage on them already is a good way to claim some of the loot they are protecting. Low cost, instant, high damage, try this, you will like it.
