Today is DeadEndMikie's birthday!  Happy 27th, ME!!!  And, I get a great card to review!!!!  BONUS!!  :)

The Ultimate Bloodsport

Quest

Pay 2 to complete this quest.

Reward: If you have no other quests, draw a card.

Like yesterday, I gotta say:  WOW.  Unlike yesterdays card, this quest should find its way into most decks.  If you don't control any other quests, its a cheap draw.

Sealed: 4/5  Cheap card draw, especially when chances are you might not have many, if ANY, other quests in your deck.

Constructed: 4/5 A great card way to draw an extra card for cheap.

Casusal: 4/5  Not a particularly FUN card, but damn useful in just about any deck.

Raid: 4/5 No matter what part of the group you are, drawing extra cards is never bad.  And with this one being so cheap to complete, it will still leave you open to use a cheap ability too.

THE ULTIMATE BLOODSPORT

Hmmm.  Pay 2, if you have no other quests, draw a card.

Well this has a little potential, but you can’t just do it anytime you want.  For the Horde, you could use this in a deck that’s based on Tewa Wildmane, where you have lots of face downs for his power up.  Then you’re more likely to have no other quests when you place this.

Otherwise, you have to use your other quests first, before this one.  The one cool thing is, let’s say it’s turn 8, and you have only 3 of these quests face-up. You could put them all on the chain together and draw 3 cards for 6 resources.  I guess that’s not too bad even though there are plenty other cards that give you more draw for less cost.  Innervate, Mana Agate, etc...

Sealed:             2.0

Constructed:     1.5

Casual:             2.0

Raid:                 2.0

turkeyspit The Ultimate Bloodsport.

Essentially, if you have no other quests (face-up) on the field, you can Pay 2 -> Draw a card.

Ok.

But why would you run this card? I can think of about 8 different Quests that I would run before this card. Swift Discipline is far superior, and has combo potential with other cards like Counterattack and Watcher Mal'wi.

Just a Janky rare that sucks outside of a Sealed/Draft tournament.

----------------------------------------------

Sealed:
4/5 - Chances are you will be low on quests, so this card can actually be a good pull.

Constructed:
1/5 - Unless you are just starting with the game, you should already own many other quests that are far superior.

Casual:
1/5 - Even if you are just playing for fun, this card still blows.

Raid:
1/5 - LOL. Yeah, right.
