Orgrimmar Grunts

Horde
Ally
Cost: 2

Attack: 1

Health: 1

Orgrimmar Grunts has +1 ATK for each other ally named Orgrimmar Grunts in your party.

Personally , I don’t like this card. If it’s cost was 1, I might want to play it, but now I don’t.

The horde has much better allies out there, so just leave it in your trade pile.

Ally – Orc Warrior     Unlimited

Ogrimmar Grunt has +1 ATK for each other ally named Ogrimmar Grunts in your party

1/1

OK today we look at the unlimited orc warrior. So in the first set this little guy is the card everyone wanted to overrun their opponent with but you could never really keep them alive long enough to do such a thing.  Luckily in the new set there are support card for these little troopers.

Warrior can provide them with commanding shout, druid can provide them with mark of the wild and Shaman can increase their Attack with earth totem and totemic call and shaman can also make it harder for your opponents to wipe them all out with the new Air totem. So no longer are these the weak insignificant orcs of before now they have some clout.

If you can get your hands on a large number of them I would defiantly play them in a fun deck, I don’t think you’re going to win any tournaments with them but you can have a lot of fun.

Try this out:

Gorebelly or Balkus Wildhorn

4X Commanding Shout (+1 HP)

4X Demoralizing Shout (+1 ATK)

1X Defensive Stance

30X Ogrimar Grunts

3X Warlord Goretooth (makes them fierce)

2X Warmaster Thrall (makes them +3 ATK and +3 HP)

4X Chasing A-me 01 (gets them back)

4X Torek’s Assault (draw a card if you make an attack))

4X For the Horde (makes them +1 ATK)

4X Kiblers Exotic Pets (goes and gets more)

The deck kind of plays itself everything is designed to draw cards or make your grunts stronger having them as 5/3 shouldn’t be hard unless your opponent is playing a lot of removal. This is a fun deck your not going to win tournaments with it and if you do for shame to those of you who lost LOL. Oh and if you make this deck a little more defensive it might stand a chance in a tournament maybe some more defensive stances and some armor and your hero could tank for your grunts while they get bigger.

Sealed (1): If you get 2 you’re lucky and 2 for a 2/1 is still a bad deal.

Constructed (2): Not aggressive enough in this format too slow to build and army and too east to tear it down.

Casual (5): Build the above deck and have fun this can be a solid fun card.

Onyxia (1): Not going to cut it here 2 for a 1/1 with no effect blows and if the dragon sees more than 2 there will be 0 in the next turn.

Lazy Peon (3): I Guess you could play them here but they would lose Goretooth and Thrall and those are the boys who really pump up the grunts.

I really do not like this card. I was never a big fan of it before TDP,
and I'm definitely not a fan of it now. His stats for a 2 cost are
horrible. If he were a one cost, he'd be significantly more playable.
The biggest problem with him is that one health. There are too many AoE
spells for him to be good (Frost Nova, Infernal, Rain of Fire, etc...).
Even searing totem make him worthless. The only way he is good is if
you can get Thrall on the field, but if your deck is loaded with Grunts,
you probably won't make it far enough. And your opponent isn't going to
waste any removal on the grunts, so you can expect him to have all of
his Vanish or equivalent ready for you as soon as Thrall comes out. The
new set gives us a much better ally, Bluffwatchers, a 3 drop 2/2 that
gets +1/+1 for every other Bluffwatchers. But we'll review him another day.

Sealed: 1/5 (You probably won't get more than 2 of these.)
Constructed: 1/5
Casul: 2.5/5
Raid: 1/5
Lazy Peon: 1/5
Red Comet Orgrimmar Grunts

One of the only unlimited cards the Orgimmar grunts embody the swarm mechanic a TCG mainstay for years. For each grunt on the field it gets one attack excluding itself( so if you have 3 grunts they get a + 2 not a +3). The cost is right on the money but the health is a bit low. The other issue is you need to make the grunts your primary allies to make the most of them. and they rely to heavily on epics to get the most out of their effect. Still running a few and holding them till late game can really force an opponent into the defensive.

Sealed: 1/5

Worthless in sealed unless you run into like 6 in a row

Constructed: 3/5

They need a lot of support but the payoff is fantastic

Casual: 4/5

Circle of Life x3 + a kamikaze grunt = fun stuff

Raid: 1/5

I shouldn't need to explain why you never use the grunts in a raid
