Lex Luthor
Ah Lex Luthor. Will you ever get that Diabolical
Superman?...
Lex Luthor
Master Manipulator
5/Revenge Squad/Secret Society/7/7
Leader: Stun a ready character with cost X
adjacent to Lex Luthor > Put X +1 / +1 counters
on Lex Luthor. Use only once per turn and only
during the combat phase.
I really, really like Lex Luthor. He is like one
of the best badasses in the comic book world
that I really want to create a Lex Luthor Legend
deck (Three times fast). This Lex Luthor has an
interesting ability to put counters on himself.
And he could get pretty big, pretty fast.
Unfortunately, stunning one of your own
characters is a pretty big price to pay. I don’t
like the idea of stunning my own 4 drop just to
make Luthor an 11/11. A lot of 5 drops have
biggish stats and don’t require much sacrifice.
Stunning my 3 drop like Ruin for a 10/10 is
nice, but seems to hardly be worth the effort.
Stunning a 6 drop is just really stupid on all
accounts. Well, maybe except for Lobo…
In sealed, this card will get you nowhere fast.
Losing characters is not the best way to go…

When will Lex ever get the elusive Rabbit, I
mean, Superman?

I like this
version of Lex a lot. This truly shows a lot of
his character in a great effect. I'm not big on
Superman comics, but I do know a bit about him
from all the shows. He's extremely manipulative,
intelligent and always has a fail safe. His
leader ability is the fail safe in this case.
Should he be in danger of becoming stunned, he
can stun the nearest guy to him to, in the very
least, take someone with him. Then again he is
Injustice Gang, so he can possibly defend
against the attack (Power Siphon). I'm not too
much of a fan of the villains, but I like this
guy.
