Nega-Bomb

Basics: Ok, I will admit I threw this one out there just for kicks. But hey, in a Kree press deck, this card could definitely work. Nega-Bomb says, "Play Nega-Bomb only during the combat phase.
Nega-Bomb costs 1 less to play for each Kree character you recruited this turn. Remove all characters from the game". With a 16 threshold cost though, this may be a little tough to pull off.
Constructed play: Ok so you want to play this card. Here is what you do...Build a Kree press deck. Pull off all your characters on turn 8. Recruit a 2,2,3,4,5,6,7 on turn 9 and play. Once Nega-Bomb goes on the chain, simply use a PT to return all of your Kree characters to your hand and resolve. Of course I always thought that Kree decks were meant to swarm really fast, so why even try to stall and use this card?
Limited: You can forget this card in this format.

Ratings:
MMA constructed - 1.0/5.0 ...Kree...stall? Why?
GA constructed - 1.0/5.0 ...However you will probably get applause if you pull this off in this format.

Limited - .5/5.0 ...Yep, this would qualify as a sucky pack.

Nega-Bomb

Well, with Golden Age a month and a half away, it was just about time for the old Gamma Bomb deck to be updated, and updated it was. Sure, Nega-Bomb has a threshold cost 7 higher than Gamma Bomb, but there are ways to lower that. Obviously, it costs one less for each Kree you recruited that turn, so you could make it playable by turn 8 or 9 with a lot of Press characters, and maybe something like 2-drop Beast or Latveria from Marvel Origins. That's what Gamma Doom decks did, and they had a modicum of success. If you recruit eight 1-drop Kree, you can play it on Turn 8...you're just going to remove all those characters from the game anyway, so who cares. Then you can slap down a 9 drop FTW. To be honest, you're going to need some serious stall to get to a point where you can play the Nega-Bomb. After you do, you'll want something to follow it up with, like Imperiex on turn
9 or something. Very narrow window of usefulness with this card, but it's out there, waiting for you...Mr.
Insane Deckbuilder.

In Limited, it maybe...maaaaybe would work in a Draft where you could score every other Kree character and then Nega-Bomb as the last pick in the last pack.
However, a good Kree deck wins on 6, so why waste a slot?

Rating: 1.5/5
