This little guy is one of my favorite first turn
character drops. He's cheap, he's fast, and - most
importantly - he can't be picked by your opponent.
Anyone who's played with this card or his big
brother the Martial Artist knows just how powerful
being unpickable really is. Shutting down targeted
destruction is huge, leaving amazing cards like
Dragon's Quarters or Runic Cannon collecting dust,
and making Irresistible Bribes resistible. His high
speed also means that he can effectively block and
kill other weenies, adding to his indestructibility.
Of course, he's still small and so falls easy prey
to Rabid Sarume, Menacing Mauler, Torrential
Bleeder, or Shreiver Attack, but what do you want
out of a 3-cost play?
