Wow, if this Fett wasnt a Mando, i would be almost ready to declare him the first broken figure in the game, but since he is in the Mando faction, he simply brings some much needed power to an underpowered faction of over costed followers.

His stats are typical Boba (on the strong end i might add).  He has his accurate as always as well as flight.  the first difference is that this is the first Fett to not have Bounty Hunter, but he does have cunning for a very nice +17 for 30 DAM.  Throw in double attack and you basically have Boba Merc at this point.  The difference between them is that this Boba does not have Intuition but does have greater mobile which is far more deadly.  You could say they went ahead and just incorporated Garm into his abilities.

That is all well and good, but now he gets his missiles 30 back from his Enforcer version and a new ability in Penetration 10.  He will be down right deadly to any figure that relies on DRx to extend their HP.  This Boba is also a leader with a commander effect.  Granting accurate to followers is huge.  It ia about the only thing that really makes Canderous playable.  It really helps with all of the other shooters in the faction as well.  Interesting thing is that his is the first Mando CE not to apply to allies.

He is extremely solid.  The fact he is denied support form the stronger factions is the one thing that makes it near impossible to abuse him.

100pts:  Possible.  You would need some fringe help to have a good shot, but he is strong enough that, like Merc, with the right support he can be deadly to certain squads.  Unlike Merc, though, he only has fringe and Mando to draw from.

150/200pts: He is practically a must for any Mando squad in these formats and strong enough to be really good if played correctly.  If you attempt the Mando route, the builds may take quite a bit of tweaking to get right, but there is plenty of solid fringe to fill in the gaps.  Keep in mind, though that he can be brought into the Sith faction via Uliq Qel-Droma's CE.  It gives Uliq some powerful fire support as well as other options.  Give this guy a whirl.  He is loads of fun!

People have been asking for a Mandalorian Boba Fett for some time now and let me tell you, he was worth the wait.  Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander is easily the best peice the Mandalorians have right now and he's quite cost effective as well.  For 57 pts we get solid stats across the board.  120 HP is great.  20 defence seems to be the new standard.  +13 attack is outstanding on a ranged piece and, of course, 20 Dam is standard.

As for abilities, this Fett is loaded.  He can best be described as a combination of many of his other iterations.  Flight is familiar, as is accurate shot.  He gets Enforcer's Missiles 30.  He gets Mercenary's Cunning Attack.  He has Double with Greater Mobile which, in many circumstances, is far better than Mobile with twin.  Fett, MC can mobile out, make two attacks on the same or different targets, and then pop back into cover.  Shoot at an unactivated opponent and you're rocking a +17 for 30 damage a pop.  Oh yeah, as an added bonus he has Penetration 10 for some crazy reason.  It may never come up but if you run into Damage Reduction (AT-ST?) then it won't slow down Fett, MC one bit.

There's one last little perk that puts the new Boba right over the top.  He grants Accurate Shot to Mandalorian followers in 6 squares.  This adds a great deal of playability to the other pieces in the faction, but Mando's are still pretty weak as a whole.  Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander is definately a step in the right direction though.

100pts 3/5:  He can do great here so long as you are lucky on the initiative rolls.  He'll drop fast though once your opponent closes in, so do what damage you can before that happens.  With 43 pts left to work with, there could be some good combos out there.

150pts 4/5:  Now we can start getting some real support in there.  Mandos are expensive so you won't have an army of them in any format, but you can still do well here if you play smart.

200pts 5/5:  If you're running Mandos at 200, then you need to be running Fett, MC.  Period.  Don't let the 5/5 fool you though . . . you'll still have a hard time competing considering that this rating doesn't take into account that Fett's faction as a whole is still pretty bad.  A cunning attacker in a faction with no initiative control?  Give it a shot but don't expect Boba to be able to carry your squad.
