Sorry
about no review about Monday. That was my fault.
It was like 8:00pm and I remember I never wrote
a review. A new Shaman King TCG article is
coming along nicely. If all goes well, it should
be up by the end of the week, or early next
week. Anyways since we have a short week, I am
going to compare both of the Venster cards.
Originally Venster was called Venstar.
Today's card is "Venster: Punisher." A rare
X-Laws traited teamwork. The card cost is fairly
cheap with just 1 yellow furyoku. Not much else
to say, the yellow furyoku won't hurt you too
bad.
The effect states that; "Green --> Your strikes
in Venster's zone has -2 intercept and +2
force." It's like a "Tao En" effect, but
optional. A green furyoku cost is very cheap for
a trade-off of having the option of using the
effect. Only use it when you need it. Sometimes
-2 intercept will hurt you when you don't need
it. The +2 force is always good. It turns those
bad 3 force into a strong 5 force. You shouldn't
be playing with 3 force anyways, so this card
adds more power to your already strong cards.
It's a fairly simple card, I don't think I need
to go into much more details. Decks can be made
around this effect, but shouldn't just be thrown
into any deck without consideration first.
