Anna; Future Shaman Queen

What's a better way to end an Anna themed week than to end it with the teamwork itself. "Anna; Future Shaman Queen" is the end of the week pick. The term "Shaman Queen" is a really bad line. It was never directly said anywhere in the Japanese Shaman King series (manga or anime). Anna just wanted a simple life with Yoh, not some power or title. I know it may seem that there isn't much of a difference between being a "queen" and having an easy life, but I believe there is. Maybe it's a way to dodge over the sexism of the Shaman "King" Tournament. In theory, if a girl shaman were to win the tournament, she would still be called the "Shaman King". Those Patch (Doblie, for the English dub) are just old fashioned.

"Anna; Future Shaman Queen" has a trait restriction of the Yoh team. This rare teamwork card also costs 1 green and 1 yellow furyoku. The card cost can be considered fairly cheap as long as you use the card effect a few times. By the 3rd time you use the effect, you can consider the card paid off.

Anna has a furyoku replenishing effect of; "If you counterattack from Anna's zone with a strike that has a red or yellow in its cost, add a green furyoku." The "cost" means the "card cost" or from the rule book on page 4, "Base Cost." This doesn't count from an effect cost. Since alot of good strikes cost a red or yellow furyoku, you would be using this effect often. Both "Jaded Sphere" and "Purity of Mind" have a red cost, so combining those with this teamwork can be playable in an Anna deck on a casual level. The problem with this card is you are going to be gaining tons of extra green, but still spending your yellow or red furyoku. A better card to play would be "Joco; Jocular Comedian." Check the spoiler list if you don't know what he does, or come back next week for a review! So "Anna; Future Shaman Queen" isn't bad, but there is a better Yoh team traited card out there than this. Since it's a rare card, it would be harder to pull one in Sealed formats.

Casual: 2.5/5
Tournament: 2.5/5
Sealed: 2/5
