As we enter our 6th week now of card of the day reviews I can't help but look back and reminice about all the good times we've had. *sappy flashback music plays and the various card of the day reviews are flashed on screen* oh yeah, those are the kind of memories you never forget. We enter week 6 with a very interesting selection of teamworks selected by fellow reviewer Darth Vailo. Today's card particularly I really have been looking forward to reviewing and probably would have suggested to review myself had Darth not done it for me. Lililala has a rather meanicing scowl in her pic, maybe she's angry that she was only a common. Cause in my opinion she's the best typless teamwork in the first set. Why do I feel this way, lets take a closer look:

Pros:
- Cheap
- Powerful Deck Manipulation
- Any deck can run her

Cons:
- Using her effect eliminates her
- The zone you flip her in must be open to use her

Overview: Just to get an idea of where this card's effect stands lets compare it to the closest typed card. Well there aren't any other teamworks that really have the same effect but Mind does have an advantage thats very similar. Its a rare called Focal Point. For a yellow you get the same effect. Yes you heard me right, the same effect, for a yellow instead of green and its a typed card. Of course as an advantage you also get a zone charge and because its not a teamwork you don't have to get rid of any teamwork you may already in said zone to use the effect. And that second part is probably the biggest knock on Lililala. Cause when your building your deck you need to treat her more as an advantage but if you do and run alot of other teamworks you may find her coming up in already occupied zones alot...

Deeper Analysis: That downside I mentioned kept me from using her for a long time. But then, one day, 2 realizations hit me. 1, that effect is really crazy good, and useful for basically any non-mind shaman. And 2, my teamworks are getting blown up all the time anyway so I have alot more open teamwork slots then I originally anticipated. Now of course your current meta is a huge factor in her usefulness, if no one is using teamwork destruction in your area the odds that she comes up in a teamwork filled zone increase significantly. However even in said enviroment I might still consider her. Keep in mind the fact she is a teamwork, while defiantly meant to be a negative, can also be a positive. Pull her in your yellow or especially red early game when you got hits to give and it may not be such a bad idea to not pop her right away, keep her around for celebrating or just a rainy day when you will need that effect. With advantages you don't have that luxury. Also if she does come up in a teamwork zone its not the end of the world. If you really need her effect you just play her anyway, if you can live with out it right now or just need the other teamwork more then she effectively has tactical green, pay a green to play her but then choose to keep your other teamwork. The fact of the matter is that Lililala is just incredibly versatile and the ability to look at the next 3 cards and decide which one you want can be down right game changing.

Uses/Combos: She's most useful in A: decks with low amounts of teamworks anyway and B: ones that aren' mind. Even in a mind deck she could still be useful but you don't want to spend too much furyoku manipulating your deck and wind up with out any left to actually play your strikes. In general though the more diverse a decks strikes stats are the more useful lililala is. Cause if your facing a 4 force you only want to pay for a 4 intercept counter strike, and she lets you get to it. facing a 7, she lets you sift through toward that 7 intercept you need. Facing a 3, she might land you a punisher and if she doesn't she might just land you an advantage or another teamwork to reflip and get another shot at find one.

Final Rating Breakdown:
Constructed: 4/5 (not perfect but very solid)
Sealed: 5/5 (Easy to get in multiples, your going to have alot of crud cards you don't want to use, she'll let you sift through to the ones you want)

Foreword

Hey guys and welcome to my week of card reviews! Thats right all of the cards we review this week are hand picked by me! That means that if there is a card reviewed this week that you absolutely hate you know where to send the hate mail. >.< To any address but mine. ^_^ On a side note the next chapter of my article will come to you late this week or early next week. IE-Friday/Monday.

I chose three very good Teamworks this week. These are three of my personal favorites and the first is a highly underrated card that offers a lot of advantages. Read on

--------------------------------------

Card Advantages

The reason I chose Lililala Keeper of Memories as one of the top Teamworks in Reincarnation is because she has virtually no flaws. Really, Im not joking with you. She truly is one of those cards that excels in most areas. The first being her cost. The cost of one green furyoku is NOTHING in this game. In fact you will hardly ever be in need of extra green furyoku. You are guaranteed to replenish a green furyoku every turn really. (Barring any card effects preventing it.) So this cost means you will be able to play her without any regrets afterwards. You will be getting a free re-flip basically. That is why I call her one of my insurance cards. She can save you in a tight spot in one of two ways. She will A) get you a re-flip, or B) help you filter your deck to get that god draw that you may need to win the game. Get her in your red zone and she works wonders. If you decide to gamble and leave her there and take the flip without using her then she can come in handy just waiting there as a back up plan.

Which brings me to the next great thing that Lililala has going for her: the effect. The main reason I decided to main deck the two copies of Lililala that I play in my Zeke deck was this aspect over any other. The fact that you get to draw three cards means a few things. One is that you are able to pick and choose what you will be drawing into when you flip over your next card. In a game of top decking this is amazingly useful in Shaman King. You are basically getting three shots at countering your opponent. Or maybe you are in a zone that you need charged and you want to guarantee that you will get that much needed advantage. This is where Lililala comes in. The fact that you are getting this effect for free basically is great. And it makes this card a very high pick for Teamworks in my opinion.

Another really cool thing about the Keeper of Memories is that she is not franchised. Meaning you can splash her into any deck and get to reap the benefits of this highly underrated card. I have found myself wanting to play her in all of the decks that I have helped build. She is just that versatile. Rounding out her pros is the fact that she is only a common. Meaning you can get a couple of copies of her fairly easily.

--------------------------------------

Pros

Great effect.

Great cost.

Not franchised.

Is only a common.

--------------------------------------

Card Disadvantages

Lililala has only one real flaw in my opinion. And that is the fact that you must eliminate her in order to use her effect. This is both a blessing and a curse I suppose. While her filter effect is good I do not think that being able to use it before every flip would be to smart. But in her case you get the filtering effect once before she dies. Which isnt to bad. It can be a little bit of a downer, but I think it is a needed aspect here since there would be balance issues if she were not restricted in some way.

--------------------------------------

Cons

Must be eliminated to use her effect.

--------------------------------------

Summary

In the end I love this card. She has a very large amount of uses and is very underrated. Most do not use her because she is a one time only card. But those people do not see the real beauty in this card. The fact that she is such a great life shield makes her a great pick for most any deck. There simply isnt a time when you will not want to see her. I highly recommend this one.

Lililala, is a weird name. I don't know how to say it so I go by the dub. It's said "Lee-Lee-La-La". She was another card that transfered over from the completely different Japanese OCG. She was printed once, then reprinted again in a later set. I have 3 of the Japanese reprints, one of them a foil. The Japanese hold Foil cards at a much higher ranking then UDE does. So does Lililala hold up to it's Japanese Foil status?

A common teamwork, with no trait limitations and only costs a green is a great start. This card can basically be played in any deck.

Her effect is an elimination one. To Eliminate her, you just put her in the discard pile. If you do so you draw three cards from your deck. Two of which will be sent to the discard pile and the other will be placed on the top of your deck(to then be flipped seconds later). The choice of what card to keep is up to what you draw and the current field. This card gives you options, use it wisely.

When you can use this effect is important. You must use the effect prior to flipping into Lililala's zone. So if Lililala was in the Yellow Zone, you had to first focus in the Green(or some other method of getting to the Yellow zone) then before flipping in the yellow use her effect. You can't use her effect if you are flipping in the Red zone if Lililala is in the Yellow. Also, you can pay for her base cost of 1 Green then eliminate her before flipping in the same zone. This works since you are re-entering the Yellow zone (or what ever zone she may be in).

Her effect can be used anywhere but her most ideal place to be used is in the Yellow or Red. Use her as a last stand against a powerful force from your opponent. Don't waste her on small strikes. In sealed environments, you may need more control of what cards you are going to flip next turn which she can help in. Losing 2 cards could be bad, but they give you more options than a choice of 2 cards. I like choices and I like the card. Decks that run more powerful strikes don't need her, but decks that use more Advantage/teamwork cards need her to set up combos or protect against powerful strikes. The review is in the middle, she has uses, a deck could often use 2 of these, but far from a staple.
