Base Set 1
Card Name 1st Edition Unlimited Error Explanation
Kakuna $7.50 $4.50 This card was printed with "Length" instead of weight.
Bulbasaur $5.50 $4.50 This error card was printed with "Length" instead of weight.
Caterpie $3.00 N/A This card was printed with HP40 instead of 40 HP.
Metapod $4.00 N/A This card was printed with HP70 instead or 70 HP.
Voltorb $3.00 $4.00 This card was printed with "easily mistaken for a Monster Ball" instead of, "easily mistaken for a Poke Ball".
Diglett $10.00 $4.00 This error card was printed with the fighting energy symbol for it's first attack upside down.
Pikachu $27.50 $14.50 This error card was printed with the original red Pikachu cheeks. Later they decided to switch to yellow cheeks.
Ninetales $45 N/A This error card was printed with no damage for it's second attack, Fire Blast.

Card Name 1st Edition Unlimited Error Explanation
Butterfree $6.00 N/A As a result of an ink bubble on the "1st Edition" symbol, the 1 looks like a lowercase "d."
Pikachu Promo $90.00 N/A When Jungle was being made, a few Promo #1 Pikachus got put into the machine instead and were printed with the "1st Edition Symbol."
Clefable N/A $10.00 This error card was printed with no Jungle Symbol.
Electrode N/A $10.00 This error card was printed with no Jungle Symbol.
Flareon N/A $12.00 This error card was printed with no Jungle Symbol.

Dark Dragonite $50.00 N/A Very few 1st Edition Non-Holographic Dark Dragonite cards were printed with the holographic numbers. Hold on to them as time goes on, they get harder to find!

Gym Sets, Legendary Collection and Neo 1,2,3, and 4

None, WOTC makes a comeback!

Promo Cards
Card Name Value Error Explanation
Dark Persian $45.00 The first set of Nintendo Power Dark Persians was printed without it's HP. They were all recalled and supposedly destroyed, but you can find a decent amount of them around anyway.
Prerelease Raichu $150.00 It's existence is an enigma…… It's yellow….. and it's very rare! A few Base Set Raichu's slipped into the machine when Prerelease Clefables were being made and were printed the Prerelease Stamp.
