I guess the theme this week is celebration effects, since yesterday we looked at “Command the Waves” which lets you kill an ally when you celebrate.  This card uncharges any zone when you celebrate, which means you have to have a great strike in order to get the expensive card effect.  Now, this is a decent, if not great strike.  I’d think that you’d have to pump up the Force a couple points, and frankly, you can uncharge any zone a lot cheaper and more efficiently.  I personally wouldn’t play with more than 2 of this card in my Bull decks.

My Ratings:

Playability 3 of 5

Collectability 3 of 5

Next Time: Every man needs one of these.

Bonzu Pippinpaddle-Oppsokopolis III Drop Anchor is a hard card to put in a deck. Yes, it has 8 Intercept. Yes, it has 6 Force. Yes, it so expensive that you probably won’t care about its numbers. The celebrate trigger is sometimes a blank and doesn’t compare favorably to Command the Waves. Basically, you are paying an extra yellow instead of a green for a worse ability and only one more Intercept. In my opinion, the difference is not worth the cost. I could see this card in a deck that tunes Intercept well or even 1 or 2 in a Force deck, but other than that, I would weigh Anchor.
