Hi, I am playing Pokemon Emerald right now. I wanted to catch Latios(which I have chosen) but I don't know where to get it. Is it on the pokedex already after you chosen it?

Like in pokemon gold silver and crystal like the legendary dogs they are random in the wild you willl see him or her in the wild it can be anywhere except for in buildings and caves or in the desert so good luck.
