Hi everyone. Welcome to another Pokémon of the Week. Today we’re
reviewing Rapidash, the fire horse Pokémon
As its name says, and as you might guess, Rapidash is a very
fast Pokémon. It has good Attack as well, and a very low HP and
decent special attack. Unfortunately it has a very poor move
pool so we don’t have many options for this one.
Run away is useless, so our flash fire Rapidash is going to be
the only candidate for a move combination… Don’t expect that
ability to work great either, but might get a shot or two…
Two move combinations this time. Let’s try to make a decent one
out of this…
Rapídash.
Nature: Adamant (+ Attack, - Special attack).
Equip: Liechi berry.
EV´s: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP.
- Hp fighting
- Iron tail
- Return
- Hypnosis
Try to hypnotize your opponent and hit as hard as you can…
Hypnosis will earn you a couple of turns so use them wisely…
Rapidash.
Nature: Timid (+ Speed, - Attack).
Equip: Petaya berry.
EV´s: 252 Special attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP.
- Sunny day
- Solarbeam
- Fire blast
- Substitute
Substibeamer? I don’t think I need to explain you how to use
this. But I wouldn’t recommend using it either…
When should I use this Pokémon?
It is an underused Pokémon, with great attack but very poor move
pool. So use it just casually…
What should I use against this Pokémon?
Ghosts for the first set. Tyranitar, Lapras, Suicune, Gyarados
or Milotic for the sunny beamer.
Bottom line:
Regular Pokémon, happy new year…
