Reeve Kangaskhan.
# 115.
Type: Normal.
Ability: Early bird.
Locations: Safari zone areas 1 and 3 (FireRed, LeafGreen), snag from Cipher Peon Litnar in Citadark Isle (XD).

Hi everyone. Welcome to another Pokémon of the Week. Today we’re the mommy Pokémon; Kangaskhan

All its stats are decent except for special attack. But let’s face it, you won’t use special attacks with this one so it’s not that bad. Good HP for substitute and nice speed for physical sweeping. So we have a decent Pokémon here, we just need to know how to use it…

Its ability is good if we’re going to use Rest. As it will wake up in only one turn. Nice huh? Let’s move on…

Now, we’re going to have two move combinations for this one as well. First a resting one, then a choice bander.

Kangaskhan.
Nature: Jolly (+ Speed, - Special attack).
Equip: Leftovers.
EV´s: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP.
- Return
- Shadow ball
- Counter
- Rest

Sure, you might want to try with other effective attacks as Earthquake. Anyway, Shadow ball for ghosts, return and counter for anything else. Rest when necessary, remember, you’ll wake up earlier…

Kangaskhan.
Nature: Jolly (+ Speed, - Special attack).
Equip: Choice band.
EV´s: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP.
- Return
- HP rock
- Brick break
- Earthquake

Got to love choice banders. Just remember the strategy; hit and run. You don’t want this one out a long of time in a battle.

When should I use this Pokémon?
As your physical sweeper, against Blissey and Miltank and stuff like that. If you’re using the choice bander, be sure you send it out at the beginning of the battle.

What should I use against this Pokémon?
A tank mainly, ghosts work fine as well, but be careful with shadow ball…

Bottom line:
Another good, but not so good, physical sweeper. I don’t have anything against this one but fighting physical sweepers work better for me.

Rating:
2.5/5

Hope you enjoyed.
Reeve.
