Hi everyone. Welcome to another Pokémon of the Week. Today we’re
reviewing a legendary; Kyogre.
Well, not much to say about legendaries, they are powerful, but
not invincible. Kyogre has a very good special defense, so it
doesn’t fear thunder. It learns Calm mind and believe me, once
used, the foe is as good as dead…
Its Ability is great because of thunder and Surf (or Hydro pump
if you wish). And in doubles, is even better.
Now, for the move combination we have one. Just one? Yes,
because that’s all you need, believe me…
Kyogre.
Nature: Timid (+ Speed, - Attack).
Equip: Leftovers.
EV´s: 252 Speed, 129 Defense, 129 Special Defense.
- Calm mind
- Surf
- Ice beam
- Thunder
Man, just calm mind. After that is all your choice. But any
attack is a one hit KO
When should I use this Pokémon?
Anytime I guess… But legendaries are not very popular (they are
among noobs). If your rival accepts, use it…
What should I use against this Pokémon?
Ludicolo, Shedinja, Quagsire, and Zapdos. That’s it. Maybe a
Jolteon, but I haven’t seen many of then beating a Kyogre. Use
Ludicolo with toxic.
Bottom line:
Amazing legendary, better than Groudon…
