Hello, readers! As everyone know, Ex - Team Rocket Returns
has been out for quite a while right now and unless you
can't read the title, I'm going to say a few things about
Dark Steelix.
Okay, first things first. For those who haven't seen a Dark
Steelix yet, let
me tell you the details...
HP: 110
Type: Darkness and Metal
Poke'Power/ Poke'Body: -
Attacks: CC Energy Link 20
- Attach an Energy Card from the discard pile to Dark
Steelix
FCCC Heavy Impact 60
Weakness: Fire
Resistance: Grass
Retreat Cost: CCCC
Well as you can see, Dark Steelix may look like a normal
Stage 1 poke'mon with a very high HP and a painful 4 retreat
cost. However, I found out that it is a very strong card -
if you know how to use it...
A. Use it with Meteor Falls
- There are 2 ways on using Dark Steelix with Meteor Falls:
1. Evolve a Ex Sandstorm Onix into a Dark Steelix and when
it has more than
6 damage counters,use Rage instead of Heavy Impact - good
for taking down unwary opponents. Plus, it;s a Metal type so
don't worry about your Dark Steelix getting knocked out
during your next turn.
or
2. Evolve an Aquapolis Onix into a Dark Steelix and attach a
crazy amount of
Energy Cards to it. This may sound insane but if you suceed,
you can inflict
painful amounts of damage and to make things worse you can
add in more
Energy Cards with Dark Steelix's Energy Link attack. Sounds
interesting?
B. Use Mr. Briney's Compassion
- Use Dark Steelix's Energy Link to take back the precious
special Energy
Cards and once you do, tale the whole loot back to your hand
with the Mr.
Briney's Compassion.
