Subject: A Killer Poke'mon Trainer Card Combo
I'm pretty sure that this Trainer card combo for the
Poke'mon TCG has not been mentioned on the site. If it has
been mentioned, please forgive me.
The killer combo is "Wally's Training" from EX Emerald
followed by "Poke'mon Breeder" from Base Set.
Allow me to provide an example of this combo taken from a
past battle of mine:
Player 1 has an EX Emerald Treeko as his active Poke'mon.
The Treeko only has one grass energy attached to it and has
no damage counters on it.
Player 2 has a EX Team Rocket Returns Dark Tyranitar as his
active. The Dark Tyranitar has 4 fighting energy attached to
it and has 6 damage counters on it.
The Dark Tyranitar has a weakness to grass. The Treeko would
only do 20 damage if the flip for its attack is heads.
Player 1 has a "Poke'mon Breeder" and a "Wally's Training"
in his hand. Player 1 uses both cards on his Treeko. Player
1 searches his deck for an EX Emerald Sceptile. Player 1
evolves Treeko directly into Sceptile and attacks to do 60
damage, taking down the the Dark Tyranitar in one shot. |
