New Jakks Mini Plush Finally Hitting the Midwest!

Lots of new Pokemon items are hitting store shelves finally.  Fans should check Toys 'R' Us, Meijer, Target and Wal-mart for new blister/clamshell and box Emerging Powers TCG items; I spotted the Zoroark box at TRU which included Emerging Powers boosters, a Zoroark foil and an oversize 3D/lenticular Zoroark card.  I've also spotted a new Black & White trainer kit which included a Zoroark foil and the clamshell packs with choice of Pansage or Zorua foils.  So far only TRU in my area has the blister pack with Minccino foil.  Prices vary from store to store with TRU generally being higher; however, they have a few items I haven't seen elsewhere yet.

So far only Wal-mart in my area has new action figures; but of course Target has had the Ash/Pikachu trainer figure for a number of weeks, noted in my prior report.  The Zoroark movie should be out on Tuesday, September 20; hopefully this will be something I can find easily in-store--only Meijer in my area had the Galactic Battles DVDs the other week and so far no other store in my area has gotten those in.

My big news, as always (Snape fans hear that word in Snape voice now!), is new mini plush have FINALLY shown up locally.  I saw the new wave of mini plush noted on e-Bay in California in late July!  That's nearly two months ago.  Many frustrating trips to my local/Midwest big box retailers finally resulted in one Wal-mart sighting Friday.  WOOT, as Pojo might say!  I picked up Minccino, Deerling, Axew and Woobat, but passed on Drillbur and Pansage.  You can see pictures of all the newer Pokemon items on Pojo sponsor Toywiz.com's webpage if you are curious.  Wal-mart price for these somewhat hard to find items is $7.97; hopefully more stores will start stocking these soon as the holidays near.  I also saw some new Throw balls at Wal-mart which include tiny plush that spring out of their Poke balls!

Some of my local Barnes & Noble stores had a Pokemon book display set up.  I saw a few activity kits for Black & White available plus lots of manga titles!

Don't forget to hit Hot Topic for your Pokemon Halloween needs!

Pika!
