Quick Shopping Tip

If you have a second today (Friday), you might want to post that I've spotted some hard-to-find Jakks backstock at Target--namely, the mini-plush wave containing the exceedingly hard-to-find Mesprite, Uxie and Azelf from a couple of years ago! I think I found Uxie and Azelf last summer, at Wal-mart, but I'd never seen them--or Happiny, for that matter, when the wave was originally released. I saw those plush on e-Bay and Pojo sponsor Toywiz.com, but always at a pretty penny. Target had 'em for $5.99, the usual going price in my 'hood; two stores in different parts of my large city had 'em today, freshly opened boxes... And I guess if you're on the Toys 'R' Us mailing list, you've received coupons for shopping--I think there was another buy 1 get 1 50% off for Jakks Pokemon merch., so check your In Box. TRU also had Pokemon backpacks and lunch kits in, so check there for your back-to-school needs *duck* (I know no one is ready to think about that yet!).

NOTE: Mesprit is spelled "Mesprite" on the Jakks tag... hrrrm. Also, for you hardcore collectors: the one box I saw contained a slight variation in design: one Mesprite [sic] has its arms down and the other had its arms up. I opted for up... ;) It kinda reflected my feeling at the time--praise the skies I finally found a "grail."

Happy Hunting! (Oh, and hey Omahanime, I HAD to get the micro playset with the Buneary! TRU has that in stock right now...)
