The Pokémon Company International is announcing the brand-new Pokémon TCG expansion Platinum-Supreme Victors will arrive in stores nationwide on August 19, 2009.  This latest installment of the best-selling Pokémon TCG contains more than 150 cards and features new Pokémon SP and new Pokémon LV.X including Rayquaza, Charizard, Blaziken, Garchomp and more! BulbaNews is reporting that the next TCG expansion is: "Platinum: Supreme Victors. The set will include over 150 cards, Pokémon SP LV. X, and more than 25 Pokémon SP. The first two Pokémon 3D animated film shorts will return to Japanese theaters on October 14 in a Pokémon 3D Adventure double-billing with digital 3D remastering and a different ending for the first short. The 11-minute Mew o Sagase! (Find Mew!) film opened in Japan in 2005 as the first 3D film based on Nintendo's long-running creature-collecting game franchise. The 14-minute Pikachu no Kaitei Daibōken (Pikachu's Great Underwater Adventure) film premiered in the following year, but only in a few theaters such as Akihabara's Tokyo Anime Center.  By contrast, the Pokémon 3D Adventure screenings will run in 23 theaters throughout Japan. According to the official Pokémon website in Japan, the 2009 Mew o Sagase! screenings will have a different ending from the original 2005 screenings. Pokemon Gold/Silver Remakes Confirmed for Japan - "Heart Gold" and "Soul Silver" for DS later this year. - 1Up.com reports the following:
"After some not-so-coy suggestions on Japanese variety show Pokemon Sunday last week, the speculation has now ended: Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver, the second-generation editions of Nintendo's infectious creature-collecting RPG, are being remade for the Nintendo DS, ten years after the originals. Rechristened "Heart Gold" and "Soul Silver," the game(s) will debut in Japan this fall."
