BATTLE PACHIN POKEMON - Click link to see

Couldn't find a pic of the actual promos, but, the August 2005 Corocoro has 3 Pokemon Battle Patchin pieces enclosed. The promos are of Rukario, Mew and Pikachu! Don't ask me how I managed to get all excited about this when everyone else was hollering about the info on the upcoming Japanese Pokemon game releases in the very same issue. I'd seen the pog-like pieces showcased in prior issues and wondered if I'd ever have one in my own hand... The artwork is lovely, just like on the TCG cards.

New Hasbro toys continue to slowly filter onto store shelves. I managed to score an elusive Pichu/Dusclops figure set over the weekend.

Also, I just wrote to Viz querying if they had any plans to release something similar to the UK new release of Pokemon Chronicles.

"A feature length adventure: 'The Legend Of Thunder', plus 'Pikachu's Winter Vacation - Delibird's Dilemma And Snorlax Snowman' and 'A Family That Battles Together Stays Together!'. "

I originally heard about these in Pojo's _Totally Pokemon_ (2004) publication. It would be a pity if we didn't get a crack at this in Region 1 (where oh where are you, o little region-free DVD player! ;). There is a nice ad for the DVD in the UK zine "Cube" this month; also, the cover story is about XD...
