The Strix doesn't leave you guessing what her best role should be. She's your support fighter. For a Cursed ship, she's not a bad one.

She's about as well-armed as any Cursed two-master; the only better one is the Nightmare, which you wouldn't want to use in a fighting role. Her cargo is small, so she's no gold ship, and you're limited to a fighting crew of Captain and Helmsman, which just happens to be all you need. Her price is higher than you'd pay for a similar ship in other factions, but Cursed admirals are used to that. If your enemy brings Pirate ships to the table, then you're in even better shape.

There isn't a lot to say about the Strix, good or bad. With the fighting crew I mentioned, she's a good choice for hunting enemy gold ships (which are Pirates more often than not), or she can follow something big into battle and add her cannons to the fray. It would be nice if she cost a point or two less, but she's still a decent value.

Goldship rating: 2.3 / 5
Gun Ship rating: 2.4 / 5
Boarding rating: 1.8 / 5
Value for points: 3.1 / 5
