Cadet-Captain Mike Had this Ranked at #4 for 2008
Draco Starcloud Aberdeen Baron

One of two five-mast English ships from the Rise of the Fiends, Aberdeen Baron is a nice-looking ship and is one of the few five-mast ships that is better at gold-running than fighting.

Cargo Space: With five spaces for cargo, the Aberdeen Baron can carry a lot of treasure. You could even stick a crew member aboard and still be able to haul good loads.

Masts: Aberdeen Baron's five masts allow her to soak up a lot of damage, but her guns are terrible: one 3S and four 4S. Avoid shooting if at all possible unless her crew includes a World-Hater and a Captain. Boarding should be okay though.

Base Move: Aberdeen Baron already comes equipped with a good base speed: S+S. A helmsman would make her almost uncatchable.

Point Value: You get a great deal here for just 12 points! You can make her do anything with the right crew.

The Aberdeen Baron is one of, if the the, best gold runner the English have. Well worth the points.

I give Le Marseillais a 4.5/5.
