Ability: Eliminate one of this ship's masts when she
rolls a 1 on any cannon roll.
This little ship came out in the very first release
of Pirates, so many of you may not have her in your
collections. If not, perhaps you should consider
getting her.
Her cannons are good, but you won't want to use them
unless things are desperate; she can sink herself if
your luck is bad. Her cargo is small, which would
normally rule her out as a gold ship as well. But
for four points, how much do you expect her to
carry? She can probably pay for herself in one
cruise, definitely two. There haven't been many
ships in recent releases that can make such a boast.
The Carrion Crow is far from the best ship in the
game. But she's a good value for her cost, and she
can play a useful role in a game. I don't ask for
much more than that.
