This big maroon ship is one of the most visually striking battleships in the game. She's also dangerous.

Speed is better than the usual L for five-masters, and cargo is typical for such ships; you'll usually use it for crew. Her guns are a reasonable mix of S and L. Her ability sounds better than it really is, because a ship this big will usually be attacked by ships of similar size, which can easily score multiple hits with their many cannons. But ignoring even one hit can make a big difference, depending on the situation.

Her linked crew, The Inquisitor, allows you to eliminate all enemy crew if you win a boarding action. But he also gives Black Mark, which turns the ship into a Cursed ship; that may not be what you want. I'd skip the Inquisitor and go with conventional fighting crew instead -- you've got plenty of room for them. You'll need some kind of Captain, like Duque Alfonzo de Castilla who also gives a crew kill, or the MI Luis Zuan who also gives a world-hater. A Helmsman would get you moving pretty fast, and a Shipwright can repair your masts so you can take advantage of the ignore-hit ability more than once. Doctor Urbano Javier gives a crew-protect for only 4 points (most such crew cost 5), so he'd be worthwhile here.

"The Bishop's Crystal" is a fine ship, and a fine-looking ship as well.

If you own her, by all means give her the chance to smash Spain's enemies. You may like what she can do for you.

Flavor Text: This enormous vessel has recently taken on a new

passenger: the man known only as the Inquisitor. He now leads the Spanish fleet in its battle against evils both real and imagined.

Most likely one of the most beautiful ships in the game, in my opinion. Can't beat that red color. Funny if you want to call the controller of this ship a communist, and it's also funny to frequently say during the game, "better dead then red". Turns out that if you go up against this ship and underestimate its potential, you're definitely gonna be dead!

El Cristal del Obispo has the most common Spanish 5 mast stats...5 cargo, S+S move, two 3S guns and three 3L guns. This ship is OBVIOUSLY a fighter. And a good one at that. A favorite tactic of mine is to put the equipment Chainshot onto it, and cross an enemy ship's T. Fire the chainshot, and if it hits, then this ship takes no damage. (As long as all of its masts are intact, at least). Very fun, and very imaginative combos thrive on this ship.

The best combo for this ship is a captain, a helmsman, a chainshot, and possibly a canceler. If you're not a fan of rank 3 cannons, throw on a worldhater.

The only real problem with this ship is its cannons. But moving at

S+S+S speed fixes that quickly.
