Yesterday's ship was a dud. This one is not, dude.
The first thing you notice about the "Good Luck" is
her maxed-out speed. Then you notice the reroll
ability, a very flexible talent that can serve as a
built-in Cannoneer, help out with ramming or
boarding, or save your life if you're dealing with
terrain. Then you notice the above-average mix of
cannons. The tiny cargo is a drawback, but not a
fatal one, since you don't need a Helmsman. Finally,
you notice the price tag, which is low for three
masts.
This ship has one good role, that of secondary
fighter. With her speed, her cannons, the Junk
keyword, and the Reroll, she's a superb choice for
covering your flank, raiding enemy gold ships,
supporting your big gunship, and finishing off
cripples. She needs a Captain, of course; she has no
room for more crew, nor does she need any. Just give
her that move/shoot and she's ready to make mischief
all over the map.
More cargo would be nice, but it isn't necessary. Le
Bonne Chance is an above-average ship for a
below-average price.
