Mermaid
Back to an older ship. This is a tiny 2 point
1-master that can just zip around the board. It has
an OK 3S cannon which might get in a few hits. The
downside to this ship is you can't put crew on it.
Furthermore, it only has 1 cargo slot so putting
treasure on this is out of the question. The L+L
movement is incredibly sweet, but I'd rather play
the Rover instead. You get S+L instead of L+L, but
you get a 2L cannon which will do some damage, and
two cargo spaces instead of just one. The 2L makes
it a better meat shield if you want to use it that
way, as it has a better chance of doing damage and
can do so at longer range.
Rating: 2.5/5 (because the Rover is almost strictly
better.)
