Izanagi
Today we take a look at one of Danzo's signature
techniques. Izanagi requires a Sharingan Eye Ninja
who's T5 or higher. This means Danzo (with Sharingan
Eye), Sasuke (T5 or more), Kakashi, Madara, and
Itachi can use it. For two Fire you can either
negate and discard one Jutsu, or simply negate all
other Jutsus in the Chain. This is followed by
ending the turn.
Now, if you're wondering about those Jutsus that
can't be negated:
There are Jutsus that can't be negated. You can't
counter one of those Jutsus with Izanagi, but if
there's another Jutsu in the Chain you can negate
that one and discard it. That way you can end the
turn as you intended, but it ends after that Jutsu
that couldn't get negated is resolved.
There's always a catch...
As a bonus, the Expert clause says that if Danzo
uses this Jutsu, you have the option of removing a
Sharingan Eye Ninja from your Discard Pile to move
this Jutsu to your Hand. It's like Mastery when
you're tight on Chakra.
