Beastly Mage

Kankuro, Temari, and Gaara of the Desert

Today we take a look at one of the new Starter Deck exclusives from Set 25, this one being from the Sand Deck. This Triple Ninja Squad card uses all three Sand Siblings and comes in at T4. Even if they're the Genin versions, they're still pretty strong. Being 7/3-3/3 with Sand, Manipulation, and Weapon Combat Attributes and 3 Mental Power makes for a great Squad. When they attack, you pick one Ninja whose Entrance Cost is lower (T3 or lower) and Injure it. That one is Valid, and would count with them as either Head or Back Ninjas. The second Effect, which isn't Valid, limits your Opponent's Jutsu Card Limit to one per turn when they Block. That can be a great way to control the situation in many ways, since playing a Jutsu that might get Negated and then not being able to counter that can be tough for anyone.

This is one card that makes the new Starters something to look forward to.
