Rin
Today's card is Rin, from Kakashi Gaiden. We have
here a Medical Chunin who comes in at T1, which is
pretty early for a Chunin. She's 0/2 - 0/0 with a
Mental Power of 2, making her a good Back Ninja. Her
effect is one that helps when you need to buy
yourself some time. When a Ninja is put in play, it
can't win Battle Rewards on the same turn it was put
in play. This can help you if you have an opponent
whose deck employs swarming tactics. Problem is it
also affects your Ninjas, and after a while she's
gonna end up becoming a Chump Blocker. Besides being
useful in Medical Decks (which don't have that many
Early-Turn Ninjas) she's also good in the
Rin-Obito-Kakashi deck (which appears to be making a
comeback now). Other than that, she's good sideboard
material against Rush decks. Try it and see!
