Four Tails

Today we're taking a look at a preview of Set 25. This is the Four-Tailed Monkey, and I don't think he's taking bananas.

Right off the bat: he's got 6/1-3/0 at Turn 4 with no Hand Cost. He's Fire/Earth, which fits the Lava theme used by Roshi. His effect is one meant to help your Tailed Beasts (him included) with any damage being received. The Valid part makes any Ninja damaging one of your Tailed Beasts due to the Showdown to receive one Damage. That effect is great, even if it doesn't really protect your Tailed Beasts, it still helps. Sometimes the best amount of damage is the one not relating to battle. The other effect responds to any damage-inducing Jutsu, as well as any Jutsu that would remove a Ninja from play. The user of that Jutsu will get one damage when the Jutsu targets one of your Tailed Beasts.

This guy belongs in a straight-up Tailed Beast deck. With those stats and the effects, you'll be able to wreak a bit of havoc during the game (which goes well with the Tailed Beast theme).
