Sasuke Uchiha (Childhood)
Today's card is an Academy Student version of
everyone's favorite Emo Ninja: Sasuke. At T0, this
2/0 - 0/0 Student has two effects. The first one
activates when he's put in play AND removed from
play. He allows you to discard the top two cards of
your opponent's deck when this happens. So, if you
put him in play at T0, and then perform Growth on
him at T1, then that's four cards. Also, if he gets
removed that's two more to go. This one is Valid, so
it's good. The second one kicks in when he reaches
your Chakra Area because of Growth. You get to place
a Growth Coin on another Ninja on your side. This
can be very useful when a bit of extra Combat and
Support are needed. Note it doesn't cover him, so he
doesn't get two Coins because of this effect. He's
good for Mill decks, as well as a few other
Fire-based builds. Only downside: no Sharingan!!!
In Limited he can be good (small deck size, he's a
T0). In Constructed and Block it all depends on what
sort of strategy you're aiming for.
