Beastly Mage

Fading Touch

Today's card is Fading Touch, a Fire Mission with a game-removal effect. When this full-permanent is put in play neither player can use non-Ninja cards that share their name with any card in the Discard Pile. This means that any discarded Jutsus, Missions, and Clients can't be put in play if there's a copy/another card with the same name in the Discard Pile. This can stop up to a certain point players that run multiples of Missions or Jutsus. The second part of the effect is one that balances the whole text. At the beginning of a player's turn, that player must remove two cards from the Discard Pile.

It goes like this:

-Turn starts.
-Remove two cards.
-Draw

(both ways)

It's pretty good, though I don't see much use for it right now. I'm guessing eventually we'll see a better use for this card.
