Welcome to a new week of reviews, Naruto Fans! Today
we'll take a look at the new Rasengan Jutsu from Set
23. This version has the usual User Requirements for
a Rasengan (Naruto + Clone Status, Yondaime,
Jiraiya), but it also has a new User: Konohamaru +
Clone Status. The Jutsu, a Super Rare, is pretty
good. The User will get a Combat boost equivalent to
its Entrance Cost (which means that, for example, a
Turn 3 Naruto will get +3/+0). But, the Combat boost
itself is just a bonus. The real beauty of this
Jutsu comes from the targeting effect. You select
one Ninja who's opposing the User (any position) and
you can move that Ninja to the top of its owner's
deck. So, you could just clear the way for Battle
Rewards, getting rid of a big hitter (or a chump
blocker)... OR BOTH!
By having one new valid User on the list this card
is a bit more playable than previous versions of
Rasengan (not counting variants such as Rasen
Shuriken). For two Lightning + one Colorless it's
not a bad cost to pay. Try it and see!
